    Rules concerning applicants :

We do not accept anyone under the age of eighteen. There are no exceptions, and we cross check in every available manner (there are more ways than you think.)

We do not accept bullshit. Do not lie to us, it will not be pretty when we find out.

We do not tolerate bigotry. If you have issues with gays, religions, genders, races, etc take your foul hatred elsewhere.

Likewise, we do not accept over-sensitive ninnies. There's a huge difference between a gay joke and harassment, and differences between intellectual conversations and heated arguments. If you can't handle the above, don't apply.

Applications are to be filled out entirely. It is acceptable to not answer some questions concerning your character if you write an in-depth reason for your refusal.

It's important to note that applications are only open to Sin'dorei characters over level twenty. An exception will be made for twinks, and may be made for lower level characters (whisper an officer concerning it before filling out an application).

Rules once you'd been accepted into the guild:

Drama. This is simple : start it, and we'll kick you. We don't want any part in your e-breakups, your temper issues, your sad life stories, or your money troubles. Feel free to talk about these things privately, but keep it out of our guild chat. Backstabbing, rumor spreading, mutiny plots and other high-school-esque practices are instant kicks. If we even suspect you're doing them, you're making us uncomfortable and you will be removed.

Issues with other people : Speak with them regarding it. If they do not stop or if it's so heinous and offensive that it warrants it? Bring it to an officer. We'll deal with it. Oh, and screencap everything. We can't deal with situations we have no proof exist.

Not being a good OOC fit is a perfectly viable reason to remove someone from the guild. Please try to make yourself comfortable; if you're not comfortable being there, others are not going to be comfortable with you around.

Keep ERP out of guild chat. Implications, talking about sex,

Keep extreme kinks out of guild chat. Skull-fucking, guro, scat, watersports, beastiality, etc are not appropriate topics for conversation.

Speaking of inappropriate things for chat, here is how our chat moderation works. If you say something a little too risque you'll be asked nicely to watch it. If you say something inappropriate you'll be told to knock it off bluntly. If you're being an offensive douche and tossing around insults or if you're whining like a nine year old in a candy store? We'll remove you without warning.

Loot drama. We don't want it.

OOC and IC separation. This is huge. So very huge, in fact, that it's the primary reason we employ a zero drama tolerance. A person's character does not equal the person. If someone's character hates yours it does not mean they hate you. Likewise, if someone's character loves yours, it does not mean that they are interested. Do. Not. Blur. That. Line.

While normally there would be some witty quip about respecting officers, I'm going to extend it further. Respect your guild mates, every one of them from the GM to the newest recruit. We're not liking you to ask them (though you should, why be here otherwise?) but we most definitely are demanding a level of respect. If someone does something so terrible as to deserve no respect from you, likely it should be brought to the leadership as it means that we probably shouldn't respect them either.

Guild pride is huge! There is nothing more rewarding than being a part of something that you truly believe in and enjoy. A good guild will make you want to log in; it's the type where you check the forums in the downtime, and the type that makes you want to go the extra mile for your friends. House Emberfall aims to be that type of guild.

On that note, if you see people being a douche to a guild mate in party/raid/bg/etc defend them. United we stand, divided we fall. Even if it means trolling the shit out of someone in /bg, do it. The more that speak up, the less likely we all are to take flak.

Trolling on occasion can be hilarious, especially when it's done with class. Griefing, on the other hand, is not funny and is not allowed.
